Bio

 

Jan Kaminski, PhD, is a Project Scientist in the Department of Neurosurgery, the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr Kaminski studied Psychology at University SWPS in Warsaw and then received his PhD in Neuroscience from Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in 2012. In 2007 he was chosen for the best student at University SWPS in Primus Inter Pares contest. In 2009 he received EBBS Rhodes Young Investigator Award and In 2011 and 2012 he received START scholarship founded by Foundation for Polish Science. Currently he is working with single neuron recordings in humans studying neuronal basis of memory. His work has been published in a variety of journals, including, Nature Neuroscience, Neuron and Current Biology.
